Privacy policy

What we collect

• Contact details you give us: your name, email, and phone number if you choose to add it.
• Your story and materials: written answers, photos, voice recordings and videos you send for a film.
• Memories from family and friends who use a memory link you share: their name, how they knew the person, an optional email, and the recordings, text and photos they add.
• Basic visit information: when you send a form, we record the first page you visited on our site and the website that sent you (for example, a search engine), so we know which pages are helpful. We don't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

How we use it

• To make your film, talk with you about it, and deliver it.
• To reply to your questions and send order and payment details.
• We never sell your information, and we never use your photos, recordings or film in our marketing or samples without your written permission.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of service providers to run the studio:

• Cloudflare hosts our website and delivers the forms you send us by email.
• Google (Gmail) stores our email, including the forms and files you send.
• Brevo sends some of our outgoing email.
• AI image and animation tools process the photos and descriptions needed to create your film's scenes.
• Payment providers handle payments; we never see or store your full card details.

They process your information only to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

• We keep your photos, recordings and story while we make your film and for 90 days after delivery, so we can make revisions or send a new copy. Then we delete them.
• If you'd like us to keep them longer, for example for a future film, just tell us.
• You can ask us to delete everything at any time, before or after delivery, and we'll do it within 14 days.
• We keep basic order records (name, email, what you ordered, payment) as long as needed for accounting and legal reasons.

Memorial films and the people in them

Memorial and life story films involve photos and voices of people who may not be able to speak for themselves. We only make a film at the request of a family member or someone close to the person, and one family member decides what's included. Anyone who shared a memory through a memory link can ask us to remove their contribution.

Children

Our services are for adults. Photos of children should be sent by a parent or guardian.

To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, email hello@loveframe.studio. We'll reply within a few business days.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
