The conversations hold far more than one film can show. We can also turn them into a written memoir in their own words, with family memories and photos alongside, as a printable keepsake for every branch of the family. Ask us when you start.

What if they're shy or don't like talking about themselves?
Most people relax within a few minutes. We ask about specific things (a first car, a first job, a favorite meal) rather than big questions, and a family member can sit with them on the call.
Can it be a surprise?
The family part can. Their own conversation can't, of course, but many families tell them it's “for the grandkids” and keep the finished film a surprise for the party.
What if their memory isn't what it used to be?
We can make the film mostly from family voices and photos, with whatever they're comfortable sharing. Long-ago memories are often the clearest.
Do we keep the recordings?
Yes. You receive the full recordings of their conversations and every family memory. They're used only for your film.
Is this the same as a memorial tribute?
It's made the same way, but for someone who's still here. If the time comes, the recordings can become part of a memorial tribute too.
